Lemon Sevai

Ingradients:

  1. SevaiMagik Sevai - 900 grams
  2. Lemon - 2 (or Lemon Puree 25 ml)
  3. Split peas (Channa Dal) - 1 tsp
  4. Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
  5. Oil - 2 tsp
  6. Onion - 2 (cut into pieces)
  7. Red Chillies (Dried) - 6
  8. Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  9. Shredded Coconut - ½ of one half
  10. Cachew nut - as required
  11. Curry Leaves - as required
  12. Salt to taste

Directions:

Mix Lemon Puree, Turmeric powder and salt to SevaiMagik Sevai and keep aside. Heat Oil and add Mustard seeds, Split peas, Onion, Chillies and Curry leaves. Fry well, add Sevai and mix well. Add Coconut and Curry leaves and serve.

    Shall we use readily available lemon rice mix and puliyodharai mix to make these sevais?

    Certainly yes. All the ready-mix taste-enhancers that are suitable for rice can be used with sevai too.
